Britney Spears' marriage on the rocks?
Many magazines are reporting today that after only five months, Britney Spears and Kevin Federline's marriage may already be on the rocks.In Touch Weekly reports a friend of the couple as saying "Kevin has suddenly started partying like a single guy." For weeks now, many publications have been reporting on Kevin's weekend trips to Vegas for drinking and lap dances, all without his new bride who is on a break from show business and theoretically available to party. Often he has been seen without his wedding band.
Life and Style Weekly also claims that Kevin's behavior has prompted Britney to rethink starting a family with him. A source told them that "It occurred to Britney that Kevin isn't a great help in cleaning up after the dogs and he might not be too eager to be on midnight diaper patrol either".
Kevin did leave his last girlfriend, Moesha star Shar Jackson, while she was pregnant with their second child to be with Spears, but Federline claims it was all for love.
"I'll tell you one thing, I never thought any of this would happen" says Federline, who told Details magazine that Spears is always so proud of him. "I could be sitting at home doing nothing. I could be playing video games. She's more proud of me than anyone has ever, ever, ever, been in my lifetime".
He says Britney and he are going to start a clothing line later in the year, "Pair of Dice" to play on the matching dice tattoos him and his new love got a few months ago.
When asked about the media attention on their wedding, Spears said "People want to live in a fantasy, so Kevin and I, or any other celebrities, are a distraction" for the public to avoid such unpleasant things as war and death.
But she says their love is true and they will "be together forever... We know that and that is the only thing that matters".
