Britney Spears is a bad tipper?
the Independent has done a report about the many websites popping up where wait staff at restaurants are publishing their rants and even a database about bad tippers.David Usborne reports on one site, bitterwaitress.com and their STD database, that's Sh**ty Tippers Database, where he says Britney Spears is listed as being one of the worst.
"She left no tip at all on a bill of $96" quotes the article, but upon searching the database, the only reference to Britney that can be found is in a post about some rather rude soccer moms at a pub in Europe.
Maybe these angry waitresses just don't provide good service and then get mad when they don't get a tip? One man thinks so. After being chased out of Gnocco, in NY, by staff looking for what they felt due, he decided to post his own nasty remarks on a review site at citysearch.com. The restaurant managers response was "we just laughed".
