Britney Spears talks to The Times of India
Hear tabla beats right at the start- The Times of IndiaIn an email interview with Indian reporter Devdulal Das, Britney talks about her past, future and how she feels about the constant hounding by the press.
When asked if My Perogative reflected her hurt public speculation has caused her, Britney responds "I wanted to express myself through this song, as this was how I felt."
She also says that while she is getting used to all the media attention and it is becoming easier to deal with, she still feels many in the press invade her privacy far too often. She does admit it's all a part of stardom but thinks it's the music people remember at the end of the day, not the gossip.
Not surprisingly, Spears says Madonna is the star who most inspires her and she is enjoying her new found ability to change her image as her career and interests evolve and grow.
Is she really a pop diva 24hrs a day? Yes, says Brit, she is sexy and sensual and all that, yet just like everyone else there is much more to her than just her public image.
With her possibly becoming a mommy and tuning her image during her break, the world may finally get to see the other side of Britney Spears and come to think of her as more than just a famous sex symbol pop music diva.
