Aussies search for Britney Spears and themselves most
Aussies big on ego searches online: ZDNet Australia reports that a recent survey of Australians and their use of the Internet showed some amazing results.39% of Aussies admit to searching for celebrity news or scandal. That's not unlike their American counterparts who made Britney Spears one of the top searched terms for 2004 in Google, MSN, Yahoo!, and just about every other search engine too.
But unlike Americans, those down under search for themselves more. 47% of those who responded indicated they searched for themselves and 16% searched for old romantic partners. Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and Delta Goodrem were the top celeb searches but more important was topics like health, breaking news and the weather.
